Project OPVK -  Operation Program Education for Competitive Advantage

has been focused on upgrading and modernizing primary, tertiary and further training systems, their interconnection to the complex system of lifelong education and improving research and development conditions.
The project  " Comprehensive development of children and pupils with special educational needs" in 15 Primary School in Pilsen has already started  and will have been realizing for 20 months – since November 1 2010 till June 30 2012.
The presented project has been focused on care of pupils with special educational needs. Their number increase every year in our school, so creating the most suitable conditions to eliminate pupils´ dissimilar difficulties and their involvement to the class society has been  the main goal of this project.

Particular goals of the project:

• Creating conditions for trouble free beggining of compulsory school attendance
• Better detection of pupils with special educational needs 
• Teachers theoretical preparation improvement for working with pupils with special educational needs
• System of practical demonstration method for pupils with special educational needs
• School facilities for using new teaching methods for pupils with special educational needs improvement
• Disseminate  offer of freetime activities by adding specialized afternoon activities
